Three-peat is called three successive Champions League Titles which is referred towards Real Madrid. In the modern era, Los Blancos is the only club to earn one of the most unique and unparalleled accomplishments. Back in the 1970’s this feat was achieved by Ajax and Bayern as well. It is unlikely that this sort of climax might even be replicated by the record-holding clubs. Let's have a look back at the journey of the Champions League three-peat. Champions League 2015-16 Real Madrid finished the group stage of 15-16 with the most points ( 16 ).  This is the best one in their three-peat journey. Must Win to remain In-Messi and Co

Argentina is a place that considers Football everything. Maradona, an Icon and an example for every Argentine. He brought the biggest prize to Argentina i.e World Cup. 


PSG maestro Lionel Messi is also an Argentine that has contributed a lot to Football. All Argentines expect him to do the same process that Maradona did in 1986. In Qatar World Cup, Argentina are one of the favourites. However, The Tournament brought a massive surprise for all Argentines. 


Argentina was set to face Saudi Arabia in their opening fixture. The game totally went against expectations as Saudi Arabia beat Messi’s eleven. This might be one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history. Group C has another fixture between Mexico vs Poland that remained equal. The next round of Group C started today and saw Poland defeat Arabia by 2-0 through Lewandowski's masterclass. 

Argentina vs Mexico

The other fixture was Argentina facing Mexico. Scaloneta has get the points and Mexico has 1 after having a draw against Poland. This game could be a door for in or out of World Cup for both sides. After having an upset Messi and Co. were ready to do everything that keeps their hopes alive. While Mexico will go with high morale as they are 1 point ahead of Argentina.


The pressure game began. As Argentina came after the loss they were a bit afraid while rolling the ball. The first half was very harsh from both sides and doesn’t make any clear goal chance. The only decent threat came from Vega’s freekick that was saved by Emi Martinez. Both teams went goalless at Half-Time.

Match Winning Moment 

The next 45’ started. This time Argentina were more calm and better. Messi was fouled and got a freekick. However, freekick does not go as planned. When everybody was silent a moment of Magic arrived at 64’ from none other than Lionel Messi. The little man lights up the biggest stage through an insane strike and Argentina lead. Mexico tried to settle down the situation but a Golazo from Enzo Fernandez (substitute) assisted by Messi ended their positivity. The game wrapped up as Argentina beat Mexico by 2-0. 


Lionel Messi produced a vintage performance when the team needed it most. Now, group C has entered into a complex situation as Poland stands with 4 points, Saudi and Argentina with 3 and Mexico on last with 1 point.
