Three-peat is called three successive Champions League Titles which is referred towards Real Madrid. In the modern era, Los Blancos is the only club to earn one of the most unique and unparalleled accomplishments. Back in the 1970’s this feat was achieved by Ajax and Bayern as well. It is unlikely that this sort of climax might even be replicated by the record-holding clubs. Let's have a look back at the journey of the Champions League three-peat. Champions League 2015-16 Real Madrid finished the group stage of 15-16 with the most points ( 16 ).  This is the best one in their three-peat journey. So, The FIFA World Cup has reached its Final Stages. This year’s World Cup has lived up to the expectations. The Group Stage ended with various thrilling matches as The Dramatic Knockout Stage began. This Football contest has proved that neither team is Favourite nor Weak. Its fearest part is that it does not have a soft corner even for Iconic players. So, let's have a rewind of the Round of 16 and Quarter Finals.  

Dramatic and Traumatic KO Stage

World Cup 2022 is the finest example of Pinch Salt. The First Knockout game was between Netherlands and USA. The Dutch won it 3-1 with ease. Argentina faced off Australia which was going quiet and calm until Lionel Messi broke the deadlock. That Goal was his first in the World Cup Knockout stage. Kangaroo’s Goalkeeper blunder doubled Argentina's Lead. The game ended in the Favour of the Argentines 2-1. France and England went through to Quarter Finals after defeating Poland 3-1 and Senegal 3-0 respectively. 


The first game that ended on Penalties was Japan vs Croatia. Japan was too impressive in the first half as they were leading 1-0. The gear shifted when Ivan Perisic's goal levelled the game in the second half. Later, during the penalty shootout, Croatian keeper Dominik Livaković rescued his side with 3-1 on penalties. South Korea was defeated by Brazil with a huge margin of 4-1The first upset came between Morocco and Spain. The game remained levelled till extra time. In a penalty shootout, Morocco stunned Spain with a 3-0 victory on the Penalty. Spain could not find a single penalty in the net. The last Round of 16 match was between Portugal and Switzerland. One of the most shocking aspect was Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench. However, the Portuguese humiliated the Swiss team with a 6-1 win. 

Next Phase of The KO Stage

Morocco Football

Quarter-Finals took place on 9th December between Croatia and Brazil. Neymar eleven were the favourite to win The World Cup. Unfortunately, Modric men have other thoughts. Another surprising result came when Brazil was Knocked out by Croatians 4-2 on penalties. On this occasion an enormous appreciation to Dominik Livaković. The next big match was Netherlands against Argentina. Undoubtedly, the most dramatic game of this World Cup. The game ended at 2-2 as the table of the game turned around with the Two Goals of Weghhorst within 20 minutes. The moments of nerve came between the two sides as the game went to the penalty shootout. The two wonderful saves of Emi Martinez brought favour for Argentina with 4-3


The next one was the Morrocan side against Portugal. The most traumatic moment belonged to this match. Portugal arrived in the game as the better side. Whereas, Morocco played some of the best football and found the net at 42’. This Goal was enough to end the journey of Portugal and as so of Cristiano Ronaldo. This moment was the most traumatic one in the whole World Cup. The last one came between two big nations England and France. The French side passed England 2-1 as Harry Kane missed the penalty on his second opportunity.


The first Semi-Finals will take place between Argentina and Croatia. The second one will be France against Morocco.
