Three-peat is called three successive Champions League Titles which is referred towards Real Madrid. In the modern era, Los Blancos is the only club to earn one of the most unique and unparalleled accomplishments. Back in the 1970’s this feat was achieved by Ajax and Bayern as well. Group Stage Madness-World Cup 2022

The most awaited Tournament of sports does not disappoint us at all. FIFA World Cup which began on November 20 has already completed its Group Stage games. This World Cup has already been different from its start. Since Qatar is not a football-playing nation, they immediately began to get ready when they were named the World Cup Host. As per several credible sources, Qatar has invested 220 billion for the mega event. 


World Cup 2022 is something that Football fans ask for. A tournament that has taken things to a whole new level. Many football giants like Germany and Belgium were knocked out in the early stages. On the other side, some Asian football teams like Japan and Korea advanced to the Round of 16. A brief look at the madness in Group Stage games.

Qatar World Cup provided us not only entertaining games but big surprises as well. Teams that no one could imagine would find a place in the next stage are still alive while super teams are out of World Cup. One of the best things about this World Cup is its unpredictability. Here we have a number of upsets and teams who went through the next stage that starts on December 3rd.

World Cup Qatar contains various unexpected results. These outcomes include:


1. One of the biggest upset of the World Cup came for Argentina. Saudi Arabia beat Messi's Argentina 2-1 with 2 successive Goals in 5 minutes. 


2. The 2014 World Cup winners tasted defeat through Asian Team Japan. 


3. Another South American side Uruguay lost over 28th Ranked Team South Korea. 


4. Iran won over Wales 2-0 which became the major reason for Wales World Cup elimination.

8. Tunisia played an extraordinary game and go through to RO16 after beating France by 1-0.


9. Japan made another sensational game. They were in a do-or-die situation and they were facing the Spain. Japan took the game in their favour in the second half with two back-to-back Goals at 48’ and 51’.


10. South Korea came from behind against Portugal. Won the game 2-1 and waited for Uruguay’s result. Luckily, South Korea advanced to the next round despite Uruguay and Korea having identical goal difference but fairplay took them ahead.


11. Brazil was an unbeaten side till they faced Cameroon. Despite not qualifying for the next stage, Cameroon ended their World Cup journey in a respectable way as they won 1-0 over Brazil.
